Clearwater-Snake Rivers Chapter #935
A new chapter of Trout Unlimited has formed in the greater Lewiston-Clarkston-Moscow-Pullman Region. The Clearwater-Snake Rivers Chapter of Trout Unlimited #935 is the first-ever, two-state chapter of Trout Unlimited in the organization's 57-year history. This two-state chapter from Washington and Idaho will bring TU's mission to conserve, protect and restore North America's coldwater fisheries and their watersheds to the Lower Snake River Region. By the next generation, Trout Unlimited will ensure that robust populations of native and wild coldwater fish once again thrive within their North American range, so that our children can enjoy healthy fisheries in their home waters. Our new chapter will help to substantially enhance conditions for trout and salmon in the lower Snake, Salmon, Clearwater, Potlatch, Grande Ronde, Tucannon, Palouse, Lochsa and Selway rivers. Our new chapter will help through partnerships to shape the work of federal and Washington and Idaho state agencies in this region to realize Trout Unlimited's vision of ensuring robust populations of native and wild coldwater fish thriving again in their North American range for our children.
